Volunteer Iowa is seeking keynote session presenters for the Iowa Nonprofit Summit, scheduled for October 24 & 25, 2017 in Altoona, Iowa.  This biennial conference provides essential learning opportunities for the staff and volunteers who direct Iowa’s nonprofit organizations and the volunteer programs they rely on to fulfill their missions.  Our overarching goal is to provide training that helps build organizational capacity and more effectively engage volunteers to address community needs and challenges.

Convening partners for this event include: Volunteer Iowa, Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center, United Ways of Iowa, Volunteer Centers of Iowa, Iowa Council of Foundations, Iowa Mentoring Partnership, Iowa RSVP and Foster Grandparent / Senior Companion program directors’ associations, and other interested statewide organizations.  More than 500 individual one-day attendance slots were filled during the November 2015 Iowa Nonprofit Summit.

The proposal solicitation is available online and must be submitted by February 7, 2017.

NOTE: Service Providers may contact Volunteer Iowa in writing with questions related to the interpretation of this Informal Competitive Solicitation and the procurement process.  Written responses to all questions received will be provided to all potential Service Providers.  If a Service Provider or someone acting on a Service Provider’s behalf attempts to discuss this RFP orally or in writing with any members of the evaluation committee, or any employee of the State of Iowa, the Service Provider may be disqualified.  Responses to questions received will be posted online and updated frequently.
