National Service Challenge- Member Emergency/Financial Assistance Fund Accepting Applications

Volunteer Iowa is opening another round of emergency/financial assistance funding, made possible by the Schultz Family Foundation's National Service Challenge, This limited emergency/financial assistance is available to members age 17-25 with unexpected costs that arose during the member service term and are difficult to cover with the living allowance. Currently serving Iowa AmeriCorps State members in the eligible age range may request up to $500 in emergency assistance per program year to help with their financial stability.

Applications will be accepted in two rounds as noted below, or until the funds are exhausted.
