National Service Challenge- Member Emergency/Financial Assistance Fund Accepting Applications
Through funding from the Schultz Family Foundation's National Service Challenge, Volunteer Iowa is able to make available a limited emergency/financial need support fund to assist members age 17-25 with unexpected costs that arose at any point during the member service term and are difficult to cover with the living allowance. Currently serving Iowa AmeriCorps State members in the eligible age range may request up to $500 in emergency assistance to help with their financial stability.
Applications will be accepted in two rounds as noted below, or until the funds are exhausted.
