Call for Presenters is now open for the 2017 Iowa Nonprofit Summit

The Planning Team for the Iowa Nonprofit Summit is pleased to issue a Call for Session Presenters. Presenters/trainers are requested that can offer interesting and relevant trainings to the summit's audience.

This biennial conference offers essential learning opportunities for Iowa nonprofit and volunteer management professionals.  Convening partners include: Volunteer Iowa, Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center, United Ways of Iowa, Volunteer Centers of Iowa, Iowa Council of Foundations, Iowa Mentoring Partnership, and the Iowa Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and Foster Grandparent/Senior Corps (FGP/SC) directors' associations.

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, we invite you to submit a workshop proposal:

  • Can you provide high-quality, interactive and meaningful training that would be appropriate for Volunteer Management and/or Nonprofit professionals?
  • Are you looking for a unique way to answer “What’s Your 50?” (Governor Branstad’s challenge to all Iowans to spend 50 hours per year volunteering)
  • Would you like to attend this conference at no cost or a 50% discount? (workshop presenters are eligible for free one-day and reduced two-day registration)

For complete details and instructions on how to submit a proposal, download the workshop Call for Session Presenters at (proposals must be submitted ONLINE by noon on May 5, 2017).

Please feel free to pass this message along to anyone you know that could provide training at this conference.  If you have questions, please contact Chad Driscoll, Volunteer Iowa, at, or 515.725.3074.

Basic conference information is available now at and more details will be added as they are confirmed.
