Skills-Based Volunteerism Boot Camp
Get your organization ready to leverage skilled volunteers! In partnership with Volunteer Centers of Iowa, join Volunteer Iowa with the offering of two options to meet you where you are.
- Skills-Based Volunteering 101 (August 25 from 10-noon) $25 - Start to explore all that skills-based volunteering can bring to your organizations. Learn general concepts and start thinking about preparing for skilled volunteers.
- Skills-Based Volunteer Workshop (September 22, 29, October 6, 13 & 20 from 10-noon) $150 - Bring skills-based volunteering to your organization. You will participate in the SBV 101 course plus 5 additional workshop sessions with homework that will jump-start your SBV program.
