Since more and more people are searching for volunteer opportunities online, the
Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service (ICVS) has instituted a statewide online Volunteer
Solutions (VS) system. VS, a premier online volunteer management system, is an interactive
tool that aids in connecting with, and managing, individuals and groups of people
who want to volunteer their time, talents and resources in Iowa.

Iowa organizations are encouraged to register for a VS account through their local
volunteer coordination center (VCC) or United Way as their point of entry to the
system. Use the Volunteer Coordination Center Directory to find the closest VCC
with a VS system near you.
Don’t have a local VS system near you?
Register as an Agency on the ICVS system to post your opportunities directly.
Or, contact a local volunteer center from the Volunteer Coordination Center Directory
to see if they are interested in becoming a host of VS for your community.
