Cedar Rapids, IA
The Catherine McAuley Center in Cedar Rapids had 7 volunteers donate 15.5 total hours of their time. Volunteers painted a meeting room to add warmth and cheer.
Among the volunteers were Mount Mercy University students. MMU students spent their time re-organizing and stocking the food pantry for clients and deep cleaning the kitchen. The MMU students also generously brought in food donations of rice and beans for the center.
“We truly would not be able to carry out our mission without the help of volunteers!”
- Andrea Nus, Volunteer/Tea Coordinator at the Catherine McAuley Center
