Corporation Leadership invites Service Sector to Share Insights on Act's Implementation
The Serve America Act goes into effect on October 1, 2009, but before that date CNCS must develop a plan to implement and execute the broad new policy mandates approved by Congress. The agency leadership has requested input from the national service community to inform their work and help shape the Corporation's next 5 year strategic plan. They will begin to collect that information on a six city listening tour.
