2010-2011 AmeriCorps State and AmeriCorps State Planning Grants

Annually, the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service grants almost $2.5 million in federal funds to non profit organizations, schools, Indian tribes, faith-based organizations, or government agencies to support AmeriCorps State and AmeriCorps State Education Award Only programs in Iowa.  This competition is designed to support organizations for a one year planning period to enable them to develop their capacity to effectively manage an AmeriCorps program.
