The commission (ICVS or Volunteer Iowa) is part of a network of state service commissions throughout the United States that have the responsibility of developing and communicating a statewide vision and ethic of service and promoting that vision throughout their state.

7 DEADLINE for AmeriCorps Member of the Month Recognition (for Feb. through July, 2015). Nominees chosen for this award will receive a certificate signed by Governor Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Reynolds and will be featured on the Volunteer Iowa website. Nomination form is online.
